Bluesky profile viewer
Enter a Bluesky handle or a profile link to see the public profile: name, bio, followers, following, post count and verification.
How this works
This reads Bluesky’s public API, which Bluesky publishes for exactly this data, and normalises the answer into a Creator object with the same field names as every other platform we support. It does not load or parse web pages.
Counts are the figures Bluesky publishes on the profile. A field Bluesky does not publish shows as a dash, never as a zero. Posts and feeds are not part of this lookup.
Bluesky handles are domains, like name.bsky.social or a custom domain you own, so a bare name with no dot is not a handle. A handle that does not exist returns a plain not-found answer.
Questions
- What can I see on Bluesky with this tool?
- The public profile: display name, handle, bio, followers, following, post count and the verification badge if the account has one. It does not return the posts themselves.
- Is this scraping Bluesky?
- No. Bluesky publishes a public API for profile data, and this tool reads that. It does not load or parse web pages.
- What do I type?
- A handle like jay.bsky.team, a custom-domain handle like example.com, a did:plc: id, or a bsky.app profile link. Bluesky handles are domains, so a bare name with no dot is not one.
- What if the handle is not found?
- Then Bluesky has no account with that handle. Check the spelling, and remember a handle is a domain like name.bsky.social.
- Do I need an account or an API key?
- No. The tool runs against our own API with our key. For code or volume, use GET /v1/bluesky/profile at 1 credit per profile.
