How this works
This reads the public TikTok profile page, the same one you see logged out, and normalises it into a Creator object. That object has identical field names on every platform we support, so code written against a TikTok profile works unchanged against a YouTube channel or an Instagram profile.
Counts are the figures TikTok publishes on the profile. Where TikTok does not publish a number, you get null, shown here as a dash, never as a zero. A private account returns its public shell and says so.
Only public, logged-out data is read. Nothing here needs a TikTok account, and nothing is read that you could not see without one.
Questions
- What can I see without a TikTok account?
- What TikTok shows a logged-out visitor on a public profile: display name, handle, avatar, bio, follower and following counts, number of videos, total likes and whether the account is verified. Nothing from private accounts beyond that public shell, and no direct messages or watch history.
- Why is a number missing?
- Because TikTok did not publish it for that account. A missing count is shown as a dash, never as zero, because "not published" and "zero" are different facts.
- Are the follower counts exact?
- They are the figures TikTok itself publishes on the profile, as of the moment this page fetched it. We do not estimate or adjust them, and a result served from cache can be up to a day old.
- Do I need an account or an API key?
- No. The tool runs against our own API with our key. If you want to do this in code, or for many profiles, that is what the API is for.
- Is there a limit?
- This page is rate limited per visitor so it stays available. For volume, the API endpoint is GET /v1/tiktok/profile at 1 credit per profile, and a batch job takes many handles in one call.
