Snapchat profile viewer
Enter a Snapchat username or a profile link to see the public profile: name, avatar and subscriber count where Snapchat shows one. This is a profile viewer; it does not show stories.
How this works
This reads the public Snapchat profile page and normalises it into a Creator object with the same field names as every other platform we support.
It returns the profile only. No snaps, stories or Spotlight videos are fetched, so this is not a story viewer. Snapchat profiles often have no bio, and a field Snapchat does not publish shows as a dash, never as a zero.
A username that does not exist returns a plain not-found answer, not an error from the platform.
Questions
- Does this show Snapchat stories?
- No. It reads the public profile only: name, avatar and subscriber count where Snapchat shows one. No snaps, stories or Spotlight videos are fetched, and the tool does not claim to be a story viewer.
- Why is there no bio?
- Many Snapchat public profiles do not carry one. When Snapchat does not publish a field it shows as a dash, never as zero.
- What happens with a username that does not exist?
- You get a plain "not found" answer. Unlike Instagram, Snapchat tells a missing profile apart from a blocked request.
- Are the counts exact?
- They are the figures Snapchat publishes on the profile at the moment of the fetch. A result served from cache can be up to a day old.
- Do I need an account or an API key?
- No. The tool runs against our own API with our key. For code or volume, use GET /v1/snapchat/profile at 1 credit per profile.
