Bilibili video downloader
Paste a Bilibili link, preview the video, and save the file to your device. It works on public posts, needs no account, and the video comes from Bilibili to you, not through us.
How to save a video
- Copy the link: open the video on Bilibili and copy the address from your browser. For one part of a multi-part video, open that part first.
- Paste it in the box above and press Get video.
- Watch the preview, then press Download video to keep the file.
The file comes from Bilibili’s servers straight to your device, so it uses your connection, not ours.
How this works
Paste a link to a public Bilibili video, one anyone can open without signing in. We look up the address of one MP4 of up to 720p, and your browser downloads the file from Bilibili directly, so the video never passes through our server and we keep no copy. You get a preview, a Download video button that saves it, and a filename built from the video’s id, within a limited number of downloads per hour.
Questions
- Where does the video come from?
- From Bilibili’s video servers, straight to your device. We look up the file’s address and your browser downloads it. We do not store, host or relay the video.
- Which quality do I get?
- Up to 720p, the best single file Bilibili gave us as a visitor who is not signed in. We do not use an account.
- Why is the file named with a code?
- The file is named from the video’s id, such as bilibili-BV1GJ411x7h7.mp4, because the lookup we use does not return the video’s title.
- What if the preview does not play?
- The file is still saved correctly in your browser. Press the download button anyway. A preview that fails says so and does not stop the download.
- Which links work?
- Links that look like bilibili.com/video/BV1GJ411x7h7. On a multi-part video, keep the ?p=2 in the link to get that part. b23.tv short links hide the address, so open them in a browser and paste the full link.
- Why was a video refused?
- We can only read what Bilibili shows a visitor who is not signed in. We have not tested paid, members-only or region-locked videos, and Bilibili may refuse them.
- Is it allowed?
- Download only videos you made or have permission to use. That a video is public does not make it free to reuse, and re-posting someone else’s work can infringe their copyright and Bilibili’s terms.
- Is there a limit?
- Yes. Each visitor gets a limited number of downloads per hour, so the tool stays free for everyone. When you reach it, the page says when it resets.
