The same API key and credits as every other endpoint. Only term is required; the webhook is optional, and without it mentions still collect in the feed.

When a check finds posts it has never seen before, your webhook receives exactly those, one delivery per platform. A check that finds nothing new sends nothing.

What it costs

How much does brand mention monitoring cost?

1 credit per platform per check, charged whenever the platform answers, even if nothing mentions you. A platform that fails or returns nothing costs nothing; nothing is charged per mention.

  • Every source, every 6 hours

    4 checks a day: at most 28 credits a day, about 840 a month, roughly $1.05 at $1.25 per 1,000 credits.

  • Every source, once a day

    At most 7 credits a day, about 210 a month.

  • The smallest pack

    $25 buys 20,000 credits, which never expire: about 23 months of one term on every source every 6 hours.

A new monitor's first check reuses results the free checker fetched for the same term in the last day, and a reused result costs nothing. Creating, listing, reading and deleting monitors are free.

What it does not do

Said here so you do not find out after you have wired it in.

  • No X, LinkedIn, Facebook or news sites. If those are where your buyers talk, a listening suite is the better fit.
  • The list grows: we add a source whenever there is a logged-out way to read it, and each addition is on the changelog. X and LinkedIn are not coming, because both need a login to search, and we never use one.
  • No sentiment scores, reach estimates or reports. You get the posts themselves, as they appear.
  • Instagram and TikTok have no logged-out search, so a monitor reads the posts the platform shows for your term’s hashtag, not every post that uses it.
  • YouTube and Instagram results often carry no publish date, so an older post can occasionally surface as new there.
  • A mention is kept for 90 days after a check last saw it.
  • The shortest interval is 1 hour; the default is every 6 hours.

Can I check brand mentions for free?
Yes. The free brand mention checker needs no account: type a brand, product or domain and it shows up to ten recent mentions. It allows three checks a day per visitor.
How much does brand mention monitoring cost?

Is there a subscription or a per-seat price?
No. Monitors run on the same prepaid credits as every API endpoint. There is no plan to pick, no seats, and nothing to cancel.

Create a monitor with POST /v1/monitors and give it a webhook_url. Each check that finds posts it has never seen before sends them to your webhook in a signed monitor.new_mentions delivery. AI agents can do the same through the MCP tools create_monitor and get_monitor_mentions.
Which sites does it watch?
Reddit, Hacker News, Bluesky, YouTube, Threads, Instagram and TikTok. On Instagram and TikTok it reads the posts the platform shows for the matching hashtag. It does not watch X, LinkedIn, Facebook or news sites.
How often does it check, and how long are mentions kept?
Every 6 hours unless you choose otherwise, and no more often than once an hour. A mention is kept for 90 days after a check last saw it.
